You can customize the character limit for your campaign messages on the Settings > Messaging settings > Privacy > Character limits page to align with your preferences, billing, or company policy. To change your campaign character limit, toggle on Customize limit for bulk messaging and select a value using the slider below to set your limit.
Note: This setting is available to admins only. By locking this setting at the organization or branch account level, the character limit will be applied to all of the accounts below it.
The default limit for TextUs accounts is 480 characters, but you can set it anywhere between 160 and 1,440 characters. To make changes, adjust the slider to your desired limit, then click Save to update your settings.
Note: To change the character limit for campaigns, ensure you are within the Customize limit for bulk messaging section. The slider on the top of the page will instead change the character limit for all outbound messages. For more information on how to do this, please see Adjust message character limits.
