The TextUs integration for Salesforce allows you to add the TextUs embedded conversation window as a custom component on all individual records (Contacts or Leads). With this embedded window on each record, you can easily access your TextUs account to quickly send and receive messages without leaving Salesforce.
To add the embedded component to your default record view, complete the following steps:
Go to a Contact (or Lead) record.
Click on the gear icon on the upper right corner of the screen, and select Edit Page.
In the Lightning App Builder, find the Custom section in the left column and scroll down to TextUs Messenger.
Drag and drop TextUs Messenger wherever you’d like it to appear on your page.
Click Save.
Click Activation to activate the page. Choose whether or not you want this setup to be the default, or if you only want certain users to be able to see it.
Once activated, the embedded component will appear on Contact and Lead record pages based on the settings you chose. To change those settings or to remove the component entirely, follow the first several steps listed above to navigate back to the Lightning App Builder and alter your setup accordingly.
