Greenhouse is deprecating their Harvest v1 and v2 API. If your organization is integrated with Greenhouse, this means your organization will need to transition to using Greenhouse Harvest v3 by August 31st, 2026 to maintain integration support and conversation logging. We recommend doing this well before the deadline to avoid any disruption to your workflow. For a smooth transition, we suggest completing this setup prior to July 31st, 2026.
The Harvest v3 API will require you to generate two new Greenhouse credentials, Client ID and Client secret, and enter them on your TextUs Integrations page. The previous Greenhouse credentials that you used to set up your v1/v2 integration — email, API key, and subdomain — can remain unchanged, as they will no longer be necessary once that API version is deprecated. Those fields will no longer be visible on your Greenhouse integration page after August 31st, 2026.
Step 1: Generate and save your Greenhouse API credentials
Your TextUs integration for Greenhouse requires you to generate a Client key (Client ID) and Client secret from your Greenhouse account. To create and copy these credentials, complete the following steps:
Log in to Greenhouse as an administrator.
In the top navigation bar within Greenhouse, click the Configure icon, then go to Dev Center > API Credentials.
Select Create new API credentials and enter the following:
API Type: Harvest V3 (OAuth)
Description: A description of your choice.
Once you're done entering these values, click View and store credentials. This will create and display your new Client key (Client ID) and Client secret.
On the credentials successfully created view, copy your Client key and Client secret and store them in a secure place. You will need both credentials to complete the integration process in the TextUs web app.
Once you have stored your credentials, click I have stored the client credentials to close the view. This will direct you to the Harvest v3 API page for the credentials you just created.
On the Harvest API page, scroll down to the Manage scopes section and set the following access permissions for this API key:

Candidates

Job interview stages

Once you're done setting the permissions, click Save.
Step 2: Enter your credentials in TextUs
To integrate TextUs with your Greenhouse instance, complete the following steps:
Log in to next.textus.com with your org admin user account.
Click on your user icon and go to Accounts.
On the Accounts page, find your org account at the top of the account hierarchy and click View.
Click the Settings tab, then go to Account Settings > Integrations.
Under Available integrations, find the Greenhouse box and click Connect.
Enter the following information:
Client ID: This is the Client key that you copied from Greenhouse.
Client secret: This is the Client secret that you copied from Greenhouse.
Click Authorize.
