How to set up the Erecruit integration

The TextUs integration for Erecruit connects your TextUs accounts with your Erecruit instance so that you can do the following:

  • Send and receive text messages with candidates in your Erecruit account using the TextUs Chrome extension.

  • Import phone numbers from Erecruit into TextUs using the TextUs Chrome extension.

  • Log your team’s text conversations back to Erecruit candidate records.


Note: Your TextUs admin should complete the steps in this section to ensure your integration has the correct account settings and permissions. This process should only need to be completed one time.

Before completing the steps in this guide, you will need to reach out to Erecruit support and request the following credentials:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Entity ID

You will also need to let Erecruit support know that you plan to integrate with TextUs so that they can make the required changes on their side.

Enable the Erecruit integration in TextUs

To integrate TextUs with your Erecruit instance, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to with your org admin user account.

  2. In the TextUs web app, click on your user icon and go to Accounts.

  3. On the Accounts page, find your org account at the top of the account hierarchy and click View.

  4. Click the Settings tab, then click Account Settings > Integrations.

  5. Click the Erecruit icon, then enter the following information:

    • Client ID

    • Client secret

    • Entity ID

    • Base URL

  6. Click Save.

  7. The integration process is complete. Your Erecruit icon on the Integrations page should now be toggled on.
