The TextUs integration for JobDiva connects your TextUs accounts with your JobDiva instance so that you can do the following:
Import phone numbers from JobDiva into TextUs using the TextUs Chrome extension.
Send and receive text messages with candidates in your JobDiva account using the TextUs web app, Chrome extension, or mobile app.
Log your team’s text conversations back to JobDiva candidate records.
Getting started with your JobDiva integration
Note: Your JobDiva admin should complete the steps in this guide to ensure your integration has the correct account settings and permissions. This process should only need to be completed one time.
To integrate TextUs with your JobDiva instance and synchronize data between the two platforms, complete the following steps:
Step 1: Generate an API key in TextUs
Your TextUs integration for JobDiva requires each TextUs user to generate their own unique API key and then link it to their JobDiva account by completing the following steps:
Log in to next.textus.com.
Click on your user icon and go to Profile > API Tokens.
Enter a description for the API key, then click Create Token.
Copy the generated API key. You will not be able to access this information again later.
Step 2: Add your API key to JobDiva
Log in to JobDiva as an administrator.
On the sidebar menu, click My Account > Profile.
Under the Configure Calendar, Email, Text and Browser Tool Options dropdown menu, click Update Text Message Settings.
Enter the following information in the pop up:
Your TextUs User Name: Your TextUs login email address.
Your TextUs API Key: The API key copied from the TextUs web app.
From Number: The phone number associated with your TextUs account.
Copy the URL listed in the Webhooks section. You will need this information to complete your integration in the TextUs web app.
Click Save.
Step 3: Enable your JobDiva integration in TextUs
To integrate TextUs with your JobDiva instance, complete the following steps:
Log in to next.textus.com with your org admin user account.
Click on your user icon and go to Accounts.
On the Accounts page, find your org account at the top of the account hierarchy and click View.
Click the Settings tab, then click Account Settings > Integrations.
Click the JobDiva icon, then enter your JobDiva webhook address in the Webhook URL field.
Click Save.
The integration process is complete. Your JobDiva icon on the Integrations page should now be toggled on.
