How to set up the JobAdder integration

The TextUs integration for JobAdder connects your TextUs accounts with your JobAdder instance so that you can do the following:

  • Import phone numbers from JobAdder into TextUs using the TextUs Chrome extension.

  • Send and receive text messages with candidates and contacts in your JobAdder account using the TextUs web app, Chrome extension, or mobile app.

  • Log your team’s text conversations back to JobAdder candidate and contact records.

Enable the JobAdder integration in TextUs

Note: Your TextUs admin should complete the steps in this section to ensure your integration has the correct account settings and permissions. This process should only need to be completed one time.

To integrate TextUs with your JobAdder instance, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to next.textus.com with your org admin user account.

  2. In the TextUs web app, click on your user icon and go to Accounts.

  3. On the Accounts page, find your org account at the top of the account hierarchy and click View.

  4. Click the Settings tab, then click Account Settings > Integrations.

  5. Click the JobAdder icon, then click Authorize.

    1. In the JobAdder pop up window, you may be asked to log in to your JobAdder account. Enter your admin credentials, then click Sign In.

  6. A pop up window opens requesting your permission for TextUs to access your JobAdder data. Click Accept to continue.

    • If you receive the following error message: API access has not been granted by your JobAdder account administrator, it means you do not have the right permissions to complete the integration. Contact your JobAdder system administrator for assistance.

  7. The integration process is complete. Your JobAdder icon on the Integrations page should now be toggled on.

In some cases, it can take between 30 minutes and a few hours to begin logging notes to contact and candidate records. If you aren’t seeing your notes log within 24 hours, contact the TextUs Support Team for further assistance.
