The TextUs Chrome extension makes it easy for you to use text messaging in your CRM, ATS, or any website in a Google Chrome browser.
Note: While intended for use in Google Chrome, our Chrome extension also works in a Microsoft Edge browser. The installation instructions in Install the TextUs Chrome extension still apply, just ensure that you have Allow extensions from other stores enabled in your Edge extension settings.
What’s included in the TextUs Chrome extension
The TextUs Chrome extension brings some of the most important TextUs features to your browser-based CRM or ATS. You can use the TextUs Chrome extension to access the following features from your CRM or ATS application:
Import contacts: Use the Find Numbers feature to collect your contacts’ information from the webpage and import them into TextUs.
Two-way text messaging: Send and receive text messages using all the formatting and personalization options available in the TextUs web app. You can also send campaigns to your contacts, or enroll them in sequences.
Manage contacts and conversations: Keep your contacts and inbox organized by using the batch actions on the Inbox and Contacts menus. For multi-user accounts, you can assign and track your team’s conversations to keep customer engagement running smoothly.
TextUs Chrome Extension Supported Integrations
The Find Numbers feature in the TextUs Chrome extension lets you quickly add and message contacts from your existing CRM or ATS into TextUs. The TextUs Chrome extension supports Find Numbers on the following types of views:
List views: A list view is a page or menu in your application that displays multiple contacts in a table or list. You can use list views to bulk-import contacts into the TextUs Chrome extension. List views are often used when you want to send the same message to multiple contacts at a time.
Page views: A page view is an individual record in your application that shows the contact’s details. You can use page views to import a single contact into the TextUs Chrome extension or start a conversation with that specific contact.
