To edit a contact, click the contact’s name or phone number to open the Contact details side panel, then click the pencil icon to Edit contact details.
On the Edit contact view, update the contact’s information, then click Save to save your changes.
Add a tag to a contact
You can organize your contacts using tags to help you quickly find a contact based on a specific label.
To add a tag to a contact, click the contact’s name or phone number to open the Contact details side panel. In the Tags section, click the + Tag bubble and enter one or two words associated with the contact. For example, “Denver” or “sales lead”.
To remove a tag, click the X button on the bubble of the tag that you wish to remove.
Tip: You can also edit tags by uploading a CSV file that contains your contact’s existing information with updated tags.
Add the contact to a group
To add the contact to a group, click the contact’s name or phone number to open the Contact details side panel. In the Groups section, click the + Group bubble.
If you want to add the contact to an existing group, select the group from the dropdown menu. After a few seconds, that group should appear as a bubble within the group section.
To add the contact to a new group, type the name of the group you want to create and click Add "[Group Name"]. After a few seconds, that group should appear as a bubble within the group section.
To remove the contact from a group, click the X button on the bubble of the group that you wish to remove them from.
Add another phone number
To add another phone number for the contact, click the + icon on the top right of the Other numbers section. Enter a phone number and number type. Click Save.
View and manage notes
On the Contact details side panel, the Notes tab will display all the notes that have been added in conversations with that contact.
You can also add or remove notes directly from the Contact details side panel. To add a note, click the + button on the top right of the Notes section, type your note, and hit Post. To remove a note, click the pencil icon next to that note and then the trash can icon to delete it. You can only delete notes that you created; you cannot delete notes added by other users.
View attached files
The Files tab within Contact details displays any and all files from conversations with that contact. To download a file to your computer, hover over the file and click the cloud icon.
