New SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle Taleo & HCM Integrations

We are thrilled to announce our new TextUs for SAP SuccessFactors and TextUs for Oracle integrations. These integrations allow you to add texting directly into your HR workflows, maximizing engagement and providing faster, more efficient communication throughout the employee lifecycle.

What's included with the new SAP and Oracle integrations:

  • Send two-way messages to candidates and employees, utilizing TextUs features such as campaigns, link tracking, media attachments, and more

  • Automatic contact syncing that seamlessly imports candidate and employee contact information into TextUs

  • Automatic logging of all text messages back to candidate records (SAP SuccessFactors only)

To use these integrations, they must be configured and authorized in the TextUs web app (Settings > Account Settings > Integrations).

For steps to configure each integration, see our integration setup guides for SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle Taleo, and Oracle HCM.

Updated Look for Integration Settings

We’ve redesigned the look of our Integration settings page (Settings > Account Settings > Integrations) for better ease of use and efficiency while setting up and managing your integrations.

What’s new:

  • All active integrations on your account will now be displayed at the top of the Integrations page to make them easier to access and manage.

  • For each active integration, you can click Manage to view more detailed settings for that integration. There are now separate settings tabs for General (including authentication), Message logging, and Contacts for easier configuration.

  • A new Pause button has been added that allows you to pause all active integration features, such as message logging and contact syncing. Once you're ready, you'll be able to Resume your integration without having to redo any setup.

  • You can remove your integration by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the pause icon and selecting Remove integration.

The Chrome Extension Tab is Back!

Based on your feedback, our TextUs Chrome extension has a new update (version 1.1.0) bringing back the handy tab that makes it easy to open the extension right in your browser window. Just like before, you can adjust where the tab sits on the side of your browser, or hide it if you prefer.

Most Chrome extensions update automatically within 0-48 hours, but if you’re eager to try it out right away, you can uninstall and reinstall the extension from the Chrome Web Store to get the update immediately.

Once your Chrome extension has updated, the tab may be turned off by default. To show the tab, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the three dots at the top right of your Chrome browser and select Manage Extensions

  2. Click Details for the TextUs Chrome Extension

  3. Click Extension Options

  4. Toggle Show TextUs Tab to on.

Heads up: Make sure your Chrome browser is also up-to-date (version 131.x or later). If you’re on an older version, updating your Chrome browser version will ensure everything works smoothly with the newest version of the extension.
