Manage sent and scheduled messages in the TextUs Chrome extension
Updated over a week ago

You can use the Inbox view in the TextUs Chrome extension to manage conversations with your contacts.

View inbox folders and search for conversations

To view your inbox folders, click the Open menu icon on the Inbox view, then use the filters and folders to update the messages displayed in the inbox.

Example

To search for a conversation, click the Search icon on the Inbox view. In the Search Conversations field, enter your search using the contact’s name, phone number, or message contents to find open and closed conversations that match.

Example

Close and open and conversations

After you send a new message, or a contact replies to your message, you can view the conversation in the Open folder. The most recently active conversations are automatically moved to the top of the list.

If you no longer need to message a contact, you can move it to the Closed folder by selecting the message from the list of open conversations, clicking the vertical ellipsis, then selecting Close.

Note: If the contact responds to your message within a week, the conversation will automatically be moved back to the Open folder.

To reopen a conversation and move it back to the Open folder, select the message in the Closed folder, click the vertical ellipsis, then click Reopen.

Star a conversation

When you star a conversation, you are marking it as important. This helps you to remember to look at the conversation later.

To star a conversation, select the conversation, click the vertical ellipsis, and click Star Conversations. To view your starred conversations, click the Starred folder in your inbox.

Edit or delete a scheduled message

You can view messages that you schedule to be sent later by selecting the My Scheduled folder in your inbox.

To edit or delete a scheduled message, go to the My Scheduled folder, select the conversation, then click either Edit or Delete.

For multi-user accounts, use the Other Scheduled folder to view scheduled messages from other users on the account.
