Remove links in messages

You can use the settings on Settings > Privacy Settings > Link Removal to remove links from messages for compliance, legal, or security reasons.

Note: This setting is available to admins and org admins only. You can configure this setting for all accounts in your organization by logging in as an admin and configuring this setting on your organization account.

To remove links from your inbound and outbound conversations, use the following settings:

  • Remove Inbound Links: Set the toggle switch to enable (blue) to remove links from inbound messages sent from contacts.

  • Remove Outbound Links: Set the toggle switch to enable (blue) to remove links from outbound messages before they are sent to contacts.

Note: When the link removal setting is toggled on, detected links are replaced with [LINK REDACTED].

If you wish to allow inbound or outbound links, set the toggle switches to disable (gray) for the corresponding Remove Links settings.
