This section provides troubleshooting tips for using the Find Numbers feature on the TextUs Chrome extension in Bullhorn.

Note: If you are still having issues after completing the steps in this guide, contact TextUs Support team for assistance.

How does the Find Numbers feature work?

The Find Numbers feature on the TextUs Chrome extension works by reading supported list views and page views in Bullhorn for candidate name and phone number fields. See Overview of the TextUs Chrome extension for more information.

Troubleshooting Find Numbers on supported views

If you are unable to use the Find Numbers feature on a supported view in Bullhorn, you may need to update the columns or fields displayed in the view.

How to update individual Candidates view in Bullhorn

To use the Find Numbers feature on a Candidate's profile, the Details Card must be visible on the Candidate’s profile and display the following fields:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Primary Phone or Mobile Phone (depending on your current phone preference)

To toggle the display settings for the Details Card, go to Layout > Cards on the candidate’s profile and click the checkbox for Details.

To update the fields displayed on the Details card, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Menu > Admin > View Layout.

  2. On the Field Map Entity dropdown menu, select Candidates.

  3. Click the Profile Record tab.

  4. Under Profile - Details Card, add the following fields to the Include in View list:

    1. First Name

    2. Last Name

    3. Primary Phone or Mobile Phone (depending on your phone preference).

  5. Click Save to update your settings. .

How to update the List view

To use the Find Numbers feature on a List view, the following fields must be displayed:

  • Full Name

  • Mobile or Primary Phone

If the TextUs Chrome extension is still not accurately reading the information on the page after you have updated these fields, confirm you or your Bullhorn team have not created custom names for any fields. Custom naming conventions can cause a data discrepancy when the TextUs Chrome extension reads the page. Using different columns such as First Name and Last Name instead of Full Name will also cause errors.

Update Mosaic settings

If you are still seeing errors when using the Find Numbers feature, contact the Bullhorn support team. Bullhorn customers must have the “Enable Mosaic for TextUs” option turned on.

How to update individual Candidates view on Bullhorn S-Release

For users on Bullhorn S-Release, the phone number must be on the right sidebar and the Mosaic setting must be off. Contact the Bullhorn support team if you need to make these updates.
