How to use the TextUs Greenhouse V2 integration
Updated this week

Important Note: Customers currently using the Greenhouse V2 integration will need to move to the Greenhouse V3 integration by August 31, 2024. TextUs will remove support for the Greenhouse V2 integration on September 1, 2024.

The TextUs integration for Greenhouse supports the following features:

  • Send and receive two-way text messages with candidates in your Greenhouse account using the TextUs Chrome extension.

  • Import phone numbers from Greenhouse into TextUs using the TextUs Chrome extension.

  • Log your team’s text conversations in TextUs back to Greenhouse Candidate records.

Install the TextUs Chrome extension

Before you start using the TextUs for Greenhouse integration, you'll need to download and install the TextUs Chrome extension in your Chrome web browser. For more information, see Install the TextUs Chrome extension.

Note: For note logging support, please ensure your organization admin has configured the Greenhouse integration in your TextUs organization settings.

Supported Pages

The TextUs Chrome extension supports Candidate record types in Greenhouse.

How to use the TextUs Chrome extension with Greenhouse

See the sections below for more information about how to use the TextUs Chrome extension with Greenhouse.

Import and message contacts with the Find Numbers feature

The Find Numbers feature extracts any name and phone number information on a supported Greenhouse page, then displays the information on the Imported Contacts menu.

You can then use batch actions to send targeted text messages, campaigns, or enroll contacts in a sequence (available with Automation licenses only).

View conversation history in Greenhouse

Your Greenhouse integration automatically logs all text conversations back to the corresponding Candidate records. This allows your team to keep track of text communications and view previous TextUs conversations in one place.

You can view logged messages on the Activity Feed tab of a Candidate record. Each note includes the message direction (inbound or outbound), message details, user details, and timestamps.
