The TextUs integration for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) connects your TextUs accounts with your Oracle HCM instance so that you can do the following:

  • Automatically import employees and sync employee details from Oracle HCM into TextUs.

  • Send and receive text messages with employees in Oracle HCM.

Before you begin your integration setup within TextUs, you will need to create a new user within your HCM instance. You will then input the login information for that user within TextUs in order to connect the two platforms.

Step 1: Create an integration system user

To begin, you will create a new user account within your Oracle HCM instance. You should save the new User ID and Password for this account, as you will need it in a moment when authenticating your integration within TextUs.

Step 2: Enable the Oracle HCM integration in TextUs

Now that you have created a new integration system user within Oracle HCM, it’s time to configure the integration within TextUs. To do this, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to next.textus.com with your org admin user account.

  2. In the TextUs web app, click on your user icon and go to Accounts.

  3. On the Accounts page, find your org account at the top of the account hierarchy and click View.

  4. Click the Settings tab, then click Account Settings > Integrations.

  5. Click find the Oracle HCM box and click Connect.

  6. In the modal, you will be prompted to enter your Oracle HCM Server URL. Follow the instructions provided within the modal to obtain this, either by finding your welcome email or requesting a new welcome email.

  7. You will then be asked for your Oracle HCM credentials. Enter the User ID and Password for the user account you just created.

  8. The integration process is complete. Oracle HCM will now display under Connected at the top of the Integrations page.
