Virtual contact cards (also known as vCards or .vcf files) can now be added as attachments in conversational messages using the TextUs web app. If you have Campaigns Pro, you can also add vCards as attachments to your campaign messages.
vCards allow your audience to quickly add your contact information or virtual business card to their smartphones to more easily identify who they’re texting with. This gives your team another way to easily build trust with your contacts to help increase engagement and response rates.
Simply click the Attachments option when creating your conversational or campaign message, then select the .vcf file you've created to attach it to the text message. Once delivered, contacts can click the vCard file to add your contact information to their smartphone's address book.
Tip: vCards will need to be created by your team members. When creating a contact card for your brand, certain vCard generators allow images, such as your logo, to be added to the virtual contact card to make your number more easily identifiable.
Note: The ability to add vCards as attachments is currently only supported in the TextUs web app.
