Conversations are an important part of TextUs. Each conversation is made up of all the inbound and outbound text messages between you and your contacts.

Quickly compose a message

  1. Go to your Inbox, then click the Compose button.

  2. In the To field, add the recipient or phone number.

  3. Write your message in the message field. Use the message options toolbar to add emojis, personalization variables, and more to the message.

  4. Once your message is written, click Send.

Start a conversation from a contact record

Another way to begin a conversation with a contact is to go to your Contacts list, then click the contact's name. This will display the Contact Details where you'll see a view of your conversation. From here, you'll be able to compose and send a message directly to that contact.

Schedule a message to send later

When you create a draft message in a conversation, you can schedule a date and time to deliver the message by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the Send button, then selecting Send Later. Use the options on the Send Later view to select the message’s send date and time, then click Schedule.

You can view all your scheduled messages in the My scheduled folder within your inbox. For multi-user accounts, use the Other Scheduled folder to view your colleague’s scheduled messages. For more information, see Manage your inbox.
